Owls and Chicks

I tried my hand at making some animal cake pops. I made chicks:




And owls:




The owls' and chicks' wings and the owls' ears were made using chocolate chips which I stuck to the cake pop using a little bit of melted candy coating before coating the whole cake pop. I rolled the owl pop balls into a triangle shape before coating and decorating. I used tiny sugar stars for their feet and the owls eyes are made of our cheerios! The owls' beaks are made out of a small toffee piece and the chicks' beaks are made out of orange sugar balls.
